How the journals are made
Every journal in the collection is built to the same rules, so whichever one you choose, it opens flat, takes your pen and lasts the distance.
Margins measured for the coil
Every page is laid out with three quarters of an inch on the binding edge and half an inch elsewhere, switching sides page by page. Nothing, not a prompt, not a page number, disappears into the spring.
Paper you can actually write on
White inside pages on uncoated stock, chosen to take fountain pen, rollerball and pencil without feathering. Heavy markers and some gel inks may ghost on the reverse, as they would in any journal of this weight.
Undated, so nothing is wasted
No printed dates anywhere. Begin in March or November, put the book down for a fortnight, pick it up again without a row of empty boxes reminding you that you stopped.
Written first, designed second
Every prompt is written for the life it belongs to, then laid out with room to answer: guided spreads, space to write and, where it earns its place, a light tracker or log. No filler pages.
Printed when you order
Nothing sits in a warehouse. Each copy is printed and bound for you, with a soft cover on coloured card that is chosen for the journal, not for the shelf.
Sealed and numbered
Every copy carries our embossed dry seal, and its own serial number printed on the back cover with a matching barcode, for example JBK-PRO-07-C-0042. No two copies share a number, and each one is recorded, so you can tell a genuine JournalsbyKarl from a photocopy.
Two editions of each title: the Everyday Edition at 100 pages and the Complete Edition at 160 pages. The Complete holds every section and prompt of the journal. The Everyday keeps its heart in fewer pages: fewer repeated daily and weekly pages and, in some titles, fewer of the one-off pages. Every title is a first edition, first published in 2026.

Questions before you order
How do I know my copy is genuine?
Two marks. Every copy carries our embossed dry seal, which you can feel with your thumb rather than just see, and a unique serial number printed on the back cover with a matching barcode, in the form JBK-PRO-07-C-0042. Numbers are issued once and never reused, and every one is recorded, so a copy can be traced back to its print run. If you ever want a copy checked, send us its number.
What is the difference between the Everyday and Complete editions?
The Complete Edition is 160 pages and holds every section, prompt and page type of the journal. The Everyday Edition is 100 pages: the same journal with fewer repeated daily, weekly and notes pages and, in some titles, fewer of the one-off prompt pages. Where a count differs, the description on the journal's card changes when you pick the edition. Every journal comes in both editions; choose the one you want on each journal before adding it to your basket. Prices are shown for your region, which you can change at the top of the page.
How does shipping work?
Shipping is not included in any price. Orders are sent from the Philippines or the Middle East, so the shipping cost and delivery time depend on where you are and on the courier. After you order, a member of our team will contact you by email with the shipping cost and the delivery options for your address. Your order is sent once shipping has been agreed and paid.
Which currencies do you accept?
Prices are shown and charged in US dollars only for now. Your bank or card provider will convert at their own rate if you hold another currency. Additional currencies are planned once the collection settles.
Are the journals dated, and how are the pages laid out?
Every journal is undated, so you can begin on any day and set the book down for a week without falling behind. Pages are laid out as guided spreads with prompts, space to write and, where it helps, light trackers or logs.
